• Transforming our Campus and Transforming Lives: The One Community • One Heart Capital Campaign is about more than renovating CRC’s building. It’s about providing hope and dignity to our neighbors in need for years to come.
• Growing Impact: Community Resource Center (CRC) was founded in 1979 and has been helping neighbors for over 45 years, with a mission to help our neighbors create paths to healthy food, stable homes and safe relationships. CRC serves over 7,200 individuals annually with essential services including food distribution, emergency housing, domestic violence support, and counseling. This expansion will allow CRC to better meet the growing demand.
• New Food & Nutrition Center: Your support will help build a new, dedicated space for nutritious food access, ensuring families receive the healthy meals they need in a dignified setting. One in four people in our county cannot afford three nutritious meals per day (San Diego Hunger Coalition). CRC’s Food & Nutrition Center distributes over 505,000 pounds of rescued food a year, serving an average of 570 households each month, including families, seniors, and individuals experiencing homelessness. 
• Expanded Facilities: The renovations will create a more welcoming and efficient environment, including new counseling rooms, a welcoming lobby, and improved facilities for clients and staff—allowing CRC to serve the community with compassion and privacy.
• Every Dollar Counts: Your gift will help support the renovation of CRC’s campus, where local households in need come to us for help with healthy food, stable homes and safe relationships.
